Q. What is a Motion Template?

A motion template is a professionally formatted legal document that we customize with the details of your case to help you file a Pro Se motion in court.

Here’s What a Motion Template Includes:

  • Your case details integrated into a structured legal motion.

  • A court-formatted document that follows federal filing requirements.

  • Pre-written legal arguments and procedural sections tailored to the type of motion you are filing.

  • Step-by-step guidance on how to finalize and submit your motion to the court.

What a Motion Template IS NOT:
❌ It is not a ready-to-file motion—we provide the structured framework, but you must review and verify accuracy before submission.
❌ It is not legal representation—we are certified paralegals, not attorneys, and do not provide legal advice.
❌ It is not a guarantee of court success—outcomes depend on court discretion and legal arguments.

Q. Are you attorneys?

No, we are not attorneys, and we do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

We are certified paralegals who specialize in formatting and preparing Pro Se motion templates.

  • Our role is to create structured, court-formatted motion templates based on the details you provide.

  • We do not give legal opinions, argue cases, or guarantee legal outcomes.

  • Our templates are educational tools designed to help Pro Se litigants navigate the legal process.

If you need legal advice or representation, we strongly recommend consulting with a licensed attorney.

Q. What is Pro Se?

"Pro Se" is a Latin term meaning "on one's own behalf." In the legal system, it refers to representing yourself in court without an attorney. Many inmates file Pro Se motions when they do not have access to legal representation and need to advocate for themselves in court.

Q. How does this service work?

Granted Pro-Se provides customized motion templates designed for inmates who want to file their own Pro Se motions. Here’s how the process works:"

Complete the Intake Form → A loved one or advocate submits details about the inmate and their legal issue through our online form.

Choose a Motion Package → Our mid-tier includes both an electronic and a mailed copy of the motion template.

We Create a Customized Motion Template → Our certified paralegals will format and structure a motion based on the provided case details.

Delivery → The completed template is sent via email and physical mail to the address specified in the order.

The Inmate Uses the Template as a Guide → The motion template serves as a formatting guide, and the inmate is responsible for reviewing, modifying, and submitting the motion in court.

Q. How do I know this will help my loved one?

Our motion templates are professionally structured and designed to help inmates format their legal arguments in a way that meets common court requirements. However, the success of any legal filing depends on the strength of the legal arguments, supporting evidence, and how the court interprets the case. While our templates provide an excellent foundation, we strongly encourage inmates to consult a licensed attorney for legal advice before submitting any motion to the court.

Q. What type of motions do you provide templates for?

We provide motion templates for the following types of legal filings:"

Habeas Corpus Petitions (Challenging unlawful imprisonment)

Sentence Reductions (Compassionate Release, 3582 Motions, etc.)

Direct Appeals (Challenging a court ruling)

Civil Rights Motions (Violation of constitutional rights while incarcerated)

Other Federal & State Court Motions (Customers can describe their issue in the intake form, and we will determine the best format for their case.)

Q. Why do inmates need motion templates?

Many inmates struggle with writing legal motions because they lack access to proper formatting guidelines, legal jargon, and procedural rules. Courts often reject filings that are not correctly structured. Our service helps inmates present their legal arguments in a clear, court-ready format so they have the best chance of having their motion reviewed and accepted.

Q. Can I order on behalf of an inmate?

Yes! In fact, most of our customers are family members, friends, or advocates ordering on behalf of an incarcerated loved one. You will need to provide the inmate’s full name, inmate number, and facility address so we can complete the order.

Q. What if my loved one prefers to fill out the intake form themselves?

If an inmate wants to fill out the intake form themselves, we offer the option to mail them a physical intake form that they can complete and send back. Full payment must be made upfront, and we will send the form directly to the inmate’s facility.

Q. Do you offer refunds?

 No, all sales are final.

Because this is a customized service, we do not offer refunds once the motion template has been created and delivered. If there are any issues with the order, we are happy to work with you to resolve concerns.

Q. How long does it take to receive the motion template?

Our standard processing time is 5-7 business days after receiving payment and completed intake forms.

Electronic copies are emailed as soon as they are ready.

Mailed copies take 10-20 business days for delivery, depending on facility policies and mail processing times.

Q. Do you guarantee legal success?

No, we do NOT guarantee legal outcomes.

The success of any legal motion depends on individual case facts, legal arguments, and court discretion. We provide a structural guide that helps inmates format their own filings, but we do not offer legal representation or make guarantees on case results.
